New This Year: Special Collaboration IPA – Hazy Double IPA

Starting in 2019, we will brew a collaboration IPA with one of the top 3 finalists from the previous year’s competition.

In 2018, Central Waters Brewing Company took a close second place to our own Upward Spiral IPA, so we invited Central Waters to Third Space to brew this year’s collaboration IPA. Our Brewmasters have created a spectacular Hazy Double IPA that will be released at the event.

This Hazy Double IPA will be tapped during both the VIP hour and the General Session but we expect it to go fast. To guarantee a taste and to take a 4-pack home with you, you’ll need a VIP Ticket.

• The suggested ticket to Wisconsin IPA Fest is the Advanced Sampling Ticket. For $25, you will receive entry into the festival, a commemorative Wisconsin IPA Fest glass, a Wisconsin IPA Fest 2019 sticker and 10 IPA sample pours (a $35 value). Price increases to $30 at the door.

• A limited quantity of VIP tickets are also available for $50. VIP tickets include early entry at 11:00 a.m. to allow VIPs to skip the lines and crowds and ensure access to sample the most sought after IPAs. VIPs will also get to take home a 4-pack of the special collaboration Hazy Double IPA we brewed with Central Waters. VIP Ticket Sales will end Monday July 29 at midnight.

• We are also selling $15 General Admission tickets to anyone who may not want to sample 10 IPAs

• Additional sample pour tickets will be available at the event for $2 each.

 

 

2019 Wisconsin IPA Fest IPAs

We will announce all 51 breweries and IPAs in the final 2 weeks leading up to IPA Fest on August 3rd. Check back as we announce them 10 IPAs at a time

IPAs 1-30

Explorium  – Lost in the Sauce v. 7  6.1% ABV 20 IBU

This medium bodied, super juicy NEIPA hits the palette with a big citrusy nose, a complex hop profile, and a smooth finish. This is sauce worth getting lost in.

Fifth Ward  – Haze it or Love it  5.8% ABV 40 IBU

NE Style IPA brewed with Simcoe and Citra. Big citrus juice flavor with a balanced finish.

Ale Asylum – Velveteen Habit 7.5% ABV

A floral hop nose and a juicy Citra hop intensity blend with a balanced malt spine for a touch of sweetness and a crisp hop bite. This is a refreshing IPA that challenges your taste buds without fatiguing them.

3Sheeps – Space Coast 5.5% ABV 17 IBU

Space Coast uses galaxy hops to inject notes of citrus and passionfruit, and a touch of lactose to round out the flavors to highlighting the natural sweetness.

Enlightened – Te Ipsum 5.5% ABV 39 IBU

Te ipsum, more like te SIPsome! This is an IPA made with Sorachi Ace and Centennial hops. At 5.5% ABV, it has a distinct hoppy/dank aroma, balanced bitterness, and an herbal linger in the finish. Cura te ipsum means “heal thyself” or attend to one’s own defects rather than criticizing defects in others.

Eagle Park – Demon Haze 7% ABV

Raised Grain – Iridium 7.8% ABV

Hazy IPA brewed with Mandarina Bavaria, Wakatu and Ekuanot hops

Central Waters – Strawberry Shoppe Milkshake IPA 7.0% ABV 40 IBU

Unfiltered IPA with oats; Mosaic, Idaho7, Azacca, Denali, Citra, Cascade hops.

Full Mile – Green Wire 6.2% ABV

The FMBC&K ‘House’ IPA, named in honor of the chunk of grounding wire used to prop open a door during construction. Expect bright grapefruit and mango / papaya notes from the loads of late addition Mosaic, Idaho 7 and Ekuanot hops along with a touch of grassiness and an easy bitterness to wash it down. Light in color and hazy due to the heavy dry hopping, this beer tastes like summer in a glass.

The Fermentorium – Rainbows & Lollipops 6.6% ABV 45 IBU

This unfiltered IPA is packed with citrus forward hops to make it juicy yet approachable. We then aggressively dry hopped it with more citrus hops to add an additional layer of fresh citrus and mild piney notes. Please drink this beer fresh to enjoy the best possible flavors! Mmmmm…juicy.

Hacienda – It Just Does Weird Things 6.5% ABV 40 IBU

IPA with Mosaic, El Dorado, and Citra

New Barons – Hopped by Ziggy 7.0% ABV 60 IBU

This Third Coast IPA is light to medium bodied, with juicy flavors that will remind you of the Caribbean. Brewed with Simcoe, Jarrylo, Rakau, Ekuanot and Cirtra, this will satisfy the hoppiest of heads while staying balances and easy drinking for the summer.

Sheboygan – Kadune 6.5% ABV 55 IBU

A hazy, refreshing, citrus and mango kaboom named after the Kohler-Andrae sand dunes. 2017 Wisconsin IPA Fest Finalist

Component – Phazer 7.1 % ABV 50 IBU

New England IPA with Pilsner malt along with Nelson, Citra and Cashmere hops.

Good City – Spare Time 5.4% ABV

Potosi – Snake Hollow  6.5% ABV 65 IBU

Earthy hop aroma with hints of black pepper dry hopped with Citra.

Ahnapee – Spoonerism 5.75% ABV 40 IBU

Gathering Place – Friendly Debate  5.5% ABV 55 IBU

Dank hops, tropical fruit, tangerine and pine notes burst in this IPA, the color of liquid sunshine. Light bodied with a moderate bitterness that lingers a bit longer than winter daylight and finishes with a citrusy sweetness.

Karben4 – Radikatz 6.0% ABV

Radikatz reliably reports rediculously rambunctious results, releasing relentlessly reverberative recommendations. Basically, Radikatz is Radikool.

Sprecher – Light Ship 57 4.5% ABV 75 IBU

Lightship 57, a full-flavored, light-bodied session IPA with Zythos, Simcoe and Centennial hops give character to this tasty brew, which is best described as refreshingly hoppy with stone fruit, citrus, pine and tropical notes. Subtle malts round out the flavor profile and create just the right amount of body.

Mosinee – IGA 6.2% ABV 68 IBU

Traditional west coast style IPA featuring Midwest grown Centennial Mackinac Michigan Copper Hops

Hop Haus – Hashtag Hazy 6.0% ABV 40 IBU

Well, we finally jumped on the #HazyTrain and made a #HazyIPA. We’re in the middle of a #HazeCraze so we embraced the #Haze. This brew features Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe hops. Enjoy! #HazeMeBro
