Third Space will launch the new program Friday, July 23 with 20% of the night’s proceeds going to its first partner, Courage MKE.
Third Space Brewing, has re-tooled its charitable giving program to make a bigger impact on local nonprofit organizations. The new program is called Pints with a Purpose and it kicks off Friday July 23 with Courage MKE.
The Pints with a Purpose Program will feature a different local organization each quarter. Third Space will collaborate with each nonprofit partner to brew a new beer that will be released on a Friday night during the brewery’s weekly Brewmaster’s Toast. During the release night, the nonprofit partner will be on site to share its mission with Third Space customers. Third Space Brewing will donate 20% of sales from the release night and 20% of the ongoing sales from the collaboration beer to the nonprofit.
“The goal of the program is to raise funds and awareness for organizations doing great things in our community” stated, Nick Cusatis, Third Space Brewing’s Home Market Manager and the Chair of its Community Outreach Committee overseeing the Pints with a Purpose Program. “Helping our community and creating a welcoming Third Space for all is at the core of Third Space Brewing. We have designed the Pints with a Purpose Program to make a positive and lasting impact on local organizations by dedicating a tap line to their cause over a three-month period and by throwing a great release party around the fun collaboration beer that each organization will help us create,” added Cusatis.
Third Space Brewing’s first partner is Courage MKE. Courage MKE is a collaborative movement that provides housing, resources, and services needed for displaced and homeless LGBTQ+ youth in Milwaukee to thrive. Courage MKE offers the Courage House to serve displaced youth and provides scholarships, hygiene care packages and other services for the LGBTQ+ youth of greater Milwaukee.
The brewing team at Third Space collaborated with the team at Courage MKE to brew a hoppy wheat ale with Kveik yeast as the program’s first collaboration beer. Customers can try the new beer, learn more about Courage MKE and help raise funds for their work at the Third Space Brewing tap room at 1505 W. St. Paul Ave. Friday, July 23 beginning at 5PM.
