Third Space Brewing Launches Curbside Bingo To Support Local Partners

Local craft brewery will give free beer to customers who support 5 partner establishments in new online Curbside Bingo game

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – March 31, 2020 – Third Space Brewing has launched a new online bingo game to support its bar and restaurant partners. To play, customers download or screen shot one of the pre-made Curbside Bingo cards found on the brewery’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages. Third Space has created separate bingo cards for different regions.

Customers then order curbside pickup or delivery from 5 businesses on their card. Once a customer has supported 5 local businesses, that customer posts their “completed” card on social media, tagging Third Space Brewing and the 5 businesses the customer visited. Third Space will then send the customer a coupon for a free beer for themselves and a friend for use in the brewery’s tap room once it reopens. The partner businesses do not need to stamp the cards and no official proof is required. The promotion is on the honor system.

“We wanted to create a fun way to drive business to our partners” said Third Space Brewing’s Southeastern, Wisconsin Sales Representative, Nick Cusatis. “We are nothing without the great restaurants and bars that sell our beer, so we wanted to do our part to support them” added Cusatis.

“These are challenging times for our partners but many of them are staying afloat with creative curbside pickup options” reported Cary Jaworksi, Third Space Brewing’s Southwestern Wisconsin Sales Representative. “Curbside Bingo is another fun way for our customers to engage with us on social media while enjoying great food and perhaps a 6-pack, 12-pack, or growler of Third Space beer at home” added Jaworski.

Social Media Engagement Opportunities

Third Space has added several ways for customers to join them online over the past few weeks. The sales team of Cusatis and Jaworski host a weekly Instagram Live program at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays called Sippin’ with Sales. The brewery has also moved its popular Friday Brewmaster’s Toast to Facebook Live. Every Friday at 5:45 p.m., Third Space Brewing’s Co-Founder and Brewmaster, Kevin Wright, toasts the crowd on Facebook and takes questions from the audience. Each week, Wright features a different Third Space beer and a different curbside pickup food option. This week Wright will feature a new beer from Third Space that has just hit stores and the brewery’s own curbside pickup. The new beer is called Nordic Sunrise and is a Kveik IPA.

Other Support Efforts

In addition to Curbside Bingo, Third Space has also launched an Employee Fund to raise funds for its tap room staff. All tips from Third Space Brewing’s curbside pickup program go to staff. Third Space is also offering $5 64-oz growlers to any service industry workers who have lost their jobs. The $5 spent will be put in the Third Space employee fund so the full transaction helps support staff who are currently out of work.
