Next time you belly up to the bar at Third Space Brewing, 1505 W. St. Paul Ave., you can order a pint — hold the alcohol and barley.

Think of it as if La Croix and beer had a baby.

Third Space Brewing is tapping Happy Water, a carbonated water flavored with hops. Happy Water costs $2 a pint; $1 for a 10-ounce pour.

Brewmaster and co-founder Kevin Wright said Third Space brewers had been talking about finding a non-alcoholic beverage for the taproom, and that hop water is “interesting, crafted and echoes to what we’re doing here.”

Happy Water uses the same hop profile as the brewery’s Happy Place Midwest Pale Ale with notes of tropical fruit, blueberry and some apricot.

Happy Water is currently available only in Third Space’s taproom.
